Scariest words ever spoken?

Yesterday Steven Bradbury, head of the Justice Department’s office of legal counsel, was testifying in front of the Senate Judiciary Committees when he said: "The president is always right"

Wow. Must all the dictionaries be changed to reflect the proper pronunciation of the word "nuculer?"

And why oh why didn't the committe chairman nail this toady right between the eyes? He could have done it with one question, a question like this: "Does this mean that President Clinton was always right, or do you want to clarify that only Republican presidents are always right?"

Or he could have asked if the president was right when he said that Harriet Miers was the most qualified candidate for the Supreme Court.

I also want to know if Bradbury has read Animal Farm. As the pigs continued to exploit the other animals, Boxer the horse's sad mantra was "Napolean is always right?" Could Bradbury be making a sly joke at Bush's expense, or does he share Boxer's inability to see corruption?
